Arizona Amethyst Helicopter Mine Tours
Our 2025 Spring Season for Public mine tours begins Saturday, March 15th, followed by April 19th, and May 17th. Call to book your seats.
Our Public and Private tours are offered March through May and September through November, weather permitting.
The Mine tour includes a helicopter ride up to the mine, located at 6,200 ft, in between the 3rd and 4th Peaks of the Mazatzal Mountains. You will take a short hike up to the mine entrance, where you will be able to enter the Mine and dig for your own Amethyst.
You must be at least 12 years of age.
Public Tours

$600 per person

Begin at 9:00 am and run every 90 minutes

A *50% deposit is required to reserve a seat. The balance will be charged on the day of your tour.

Each purchase includes a $50 Gift Certificate to use in our retail store at Arizona Boardwalk.
Private Tours

Available on any date, other than Public tour dates, based upon helicopter availability

As of January 15th, 2025, pricing for these Private tours is $1,800 for parties of 1-3 people, with a total weight limit of 600 lbs., or $3,000 for 4-5 people, with a total weight limit of 900 lbs.

We will reach out to you with the availability of the helicopter.
*If a flight is canceled due to weather or other circumstances out of our control, your deposit can be refunded or applied to a future trip.
